Introducing
RUEDA DE CASINO / CUBAN SALSA
IMPROVER EXTENSION CLASS

This bridging/extension Improver Level Salsa session
follows after the Beginner Class and covers Improver
to more Intermediate level training and teaches
Rueda to help raise the level of Beginners, who are
confident with their steps and turns.

BACHATA CLASS
This Absolute beginner to Improver level class
has been added at 8.30PM.
* REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS
* No partner and no dance experience necessary
* Bachata is the second most popular Latin dance after Salsa

What is Rueda De Casino?
Rueda De Casino, also called just ‘Rueda’, in it’s basic form
means ‘Casino wheel’, where dance couples comes together
to form a circle, with one main ‘caller’, who calls out the names
of different Cuban Salsa figures made up of different sequences
of fun dance moves, which are danced by the couples in
synchronisation. As the level of the dancers improve, so
does the figures performed become more elaborate and
complicated, and with a constant change of partner calls,
make the dance fun and exciting for the dancers, as well
as spectators who view the dance. These same figures are
used in individual partner dancing.

of the main basics
We have found this has given new beginners
a much better dance experience and much
better coordination and understanding of the steps.

INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS
– LEARN THE SALSA BASIC CORE STEPS FIRST –
Easy to follow, step by step breakdown
of the main Salsa Basic steps.
We recommend Beginners & advanced Beginners
to attend this session for practice.

CUBAN SALSA BEGINNER
– Ideal for Beginner students of any level
A fun, relaxed class designed to stretch & elevate your dancing!

* ALL NEW BEGINNERS ARE EXPECTED
TO KNOW THE CORE SALSA BASICS AT THIS POINT

(Total Beginner Class time: 1hr & 30 minutes)

CLASS #2:  RUEDA DE CASINO /CUBAN SALSA
(Extension lesson – Improver Level)
8.00pm – 8.30pm
(Rueda De Casino & Cuban Salsa)
Ideal for students who are confident
with Beginner level steps and turns.

This extension class will concentrate on Cuban salsa & Rueda De Casino
to Improver level, to raise the level of the Beginners.

* Masks are recommended whenever possible.
* If you have flu like symptoms, or feeling unwell,
please do not attend any classes
* If you are a first contact, as a precaution, please do not
attend any classes until after 7 days of negative testing
* If you have just arrived back from Overseas or Interstate, as a
precaution, please do not attend any classes until after 7 days
* Sanitise hands frequently 

CLOTHING & SHOES
Comfortable casual clothing.
Best shoes – low/flat smooth sole shoes
as you will be learning turns and spins.
Avoid sandals, open toe shoes, thongs.
Ladies – avoid high heels when starting
Avoid track shoes or runners as these grip the floor.

MEDICAL
Anyone with breathing problems, heart conditions, knee, back or
shoulder injuries and who are taking prescribed medication,
please consult with your doctor first before joining any classes.

PRIVATE TUITION
Accelerate your dancing with private dance lessons.
Available for Private 1 to 1, couples and private group tuition
for Cuban Salsa and Bachata Latin dance styles.
